Media 10’s Ideal Home Show welcomed more than 235,000 visitors to Olympia London when it returned to the capital for a 17-day stint from 18 March.
The organiser reported the home inspiration event to be “bigger and better than ever before” with more brands, discussions and three full-scale show homes all under one roof.
"Our award-winning home show has always been at the forefront of British home trends and inspiration,” said Lee Newton, Media 10 CEO. “We love that we are able to provide a space for people to visit and visualise different aspects of their home aspirations. Being able to interact with different products and processes in person makes it much easier for people to bring to life their dream homes."
The exhibition featured seven dedicated sections, including: the flagship Ideal Show Homes, Ideal Home Improvements, Ideal Interiors, Ideal Gardens, Ideal Technology, Ideal Food & Housewares, as well as Ideal Shopping and Ideal Fashion & Beauty.
The show also welcomed TV presenter and author Katie Piper as ambassador for Ideal Fashion & Beauty, along with our other fabulous celebrity ambassadors including TV presenter and architect George Clarke, gadget expert Suzi Perry, food critic Gregg Wallace, interiors icon Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, and gardening favourite Alan Titchmarsh.
Rob Nathan group marketing director said: “Once again the Ideal Home Show surpassed expectations. The event is now firmly established in its original home at Olympia and the natural daylight certainly makes the show even more spectacular. We certainly achieved our aims of maintaining a gate of over 200,000 visitors, improving the amount of AB visitors to the show and attracting a younger, more affluent audience. Re-book broke previous records so all in all a great result for the 108th year of the Ideal Home Show.”
